Leaked Autopsy Photos Show a Shattered Body — Yet Beijing Police Still Insist “He Just Fell While Drunk”
Leaked autopsy photographs circulating rapidly across Chinese and international social media reveal the body of actor Yu Menglong in horrifying condition: multiple shattered ribs, a ruptured liver, severe genital trauma, drag marks across the skin, and countless other injuries that defy explanation as a simple fall from height. Yet Beijing police continue to maintain their official stance: Yu Menglong simply “fell while drunk.” The grotesque mismatch between the brutal visual evidence and the authorities’ conclusion has ignited raw fury across China, with millions now demanding the case be reopened and justice served for the 37-year-old star who once commanded nearly 30 million followers.

Yu Menglong was found dead in his luxury apartment in Beijing’s Chaoyang District on September 11, 2025. Police quickly ruled out foul play after examining the scene, conducting forensic examination, taking statements, and reviewing surveillance footage. No public autopsy was performed, no videos were released, and the body was cremated shortly afterward. But within weeks, a document purportedly from the Beijing Forensic Medical Examination Center surfaced on forums, detailing shocking injuries: scalp showing signs of violent pulling, most lower molars broken or missing, nasal bridge fractured, ears bleeding, traumatic brain injury, multiple left rib fractures, cardiac tamponade, cardiac arrest, ruptured liver, and severe genital trauma.
Independent forensic experts (though difficult to access inside China) have stated that these injuries are inconsistent with a typical fall from a building. Multi-directional rib fractures, internal organ damage from heavy blunt force, drag marks, and genital trauma suggest deliberate torture or assault prior to the “fall.” Some circulating accounts even mention needle marks on the body and other details that have led the public to ask: Was Yu Menglong beaten, tortured, and then staged to look like an accident or suicide?
Public outrage exploded further as people recalled the final months of the actor’s life. Yu had openly complained about work pressure, unfair film contracts, and conflicts within the entertainment industry. He left behind bleak diary entries revealing “darker secrets” of the business than most people realize. Many fans and commentators believe his death is tied to “powerful forces” in Chinese showbiz who wanted to silence someone willing to speak out.
Although the leaked report lacks official seals and has been questioned as potentially fabricated, the images of the mangled body have made millions unable to accept the “drunk fall” explanation. Social media groups are calling for boycotts of Chinese entertainment content on official platforms and urging fans to spread the information. Some have drawn parallels to other mysterious deaths in Chinese showbiz, such as Qiao Renliang, suggesting a recurring pattern of cover-ups.
So far, authorities remain silent amid the wave of criticism. There are no signs of reopening the investigation, and related posts are swiftly deleted on Weibo. But the anger continues to grow: from mainland China to overseas communities, online petitions are multiplying, demanding transparency and justice. Yu Menglong—once a symbol of youth and aspiration—has become a symbol of helplessness against the system. Will the terrifying truth behind those wounds ever be exposed, or will it remain buried beneath the label of “accidental death”?
