UK MET POLICE LINKED TO PRINCE ANDREW COVER-UP? No Deep Probe into Sex Abuse Claims – Virginia Giuffre Furious: “They Shielded Royalty!” l

Virginia Giuffre’s voice cracked with raw fury as she recounted the nightmare: at just 17, she alleged Prince Andrew sexually abused her three times—once in London, once in New York, once on a private island—yet when she turned to British authorities for justice, the Metropolitan Police repeatedly refused a full criminal probe.

Despite her detailed accusations against the royal tied to Jeffrey Epstein’s trafficking network, the Met reviewed the case multiple times—2016, 2019, 2021, 2022—and each time declined to investigate deeply, citing insufficient evidence or jurisdiction. Even recent claims that Andrew tried to use a Met bodyguard to dig up dirt on her in 2011 led only to a brief assessment before being dropped in December 2025.

Giuffre’s family blasted the decision as a betrayal, insisting powerful connections shielded royalty from accountability while victims were left voiceless.

Was this protection for the elite—or a genuine lack of grounds? The outrage grows louder.

Giuffre, one of Jeffrey Epstein’s most prominent accusers, detailed in court documents and interviews that Epstein trafficked her to the then-Prince Andrew (now Andrew Mountbatten-Windsor) in the early 2000s. She claimed encounters at Ghislaine Maxwell’s London home in 2001, Epstein’s New York mansion, and his Little St. James island in the U.S. Virgin Islands. Andrew has consistently denied the allegations, calling them “categorically untrue,” and settled her 2021 civil lawsuit out of court in February 2022 for an undisclosed sum—without admitting liability—while expressing regret for his association with Epstein.

Despite her detailed accusations linking the royal to Epstein’s trafficking network, the Metropolitan Police (Met) reviewed the case multiple times but declined to launch a full criminal investigation. In November 2016, after Giuffre’s claims surfaced prominently, the Met decided not to proceed, citing that events primarily occurred outside the UK and other international authorities were better positioned. This stance was reviewed and upheld in August 2019 (following Epstein’s arrest and death), 2021 (amid her civil suit), and 2022—no new evidence warranted reopening, and Giuffre was informed each time.

Even recent claims that Andrew tried to use a Met bodyguard to dig up dirt on her in 2011—around the time the infamous 2001 photo of them together was published—led only to a brief assessment. Media reports in October 2025 alleged Andrew provided her date of birth and social security number to his protection officer for a potential smear campaign. The Met investigated but announced on December 13, 2025, that the review “has not revealed any additional evidence of criminal acts or misconduct.” In the absence of further information, no action would be taken, though they remained open to new evidence.

Giuffre’s family blasted the December 2025 decision as a betrayal, calling it “deeply disappointing” and issued without warning or consultation. They insisted powerful connections shielded royalty from accountability while victims were left voiceless, echoing broader criticisms of institutional protection for the elite in the Epstein saga.

Andrew’s defenders argue the refusals stem from genuine evidentiary gaps: no corroborating witnesses for the alleged assaults in the UK, jurisdictional limits (most events abroad), and reliance on civil rather than criminal proceedings. The Met emphasized assessments followed standard procedure, with no sufficient grounds for charges under UK law.

Giuffre, who died by suicide on April 25, 2025, at age 41 in Western Australia, left behind a posthumous memoir, Nobody’s Girl, amplifying her story and frustrations. Her case highlights persistent questions: Was this protection for the elite—or a genuine lack of grounds for criminal prosecution? The outrage grows louder, as survivors and advocates demand transparency in how power intersects with justice.
