A newly revealed 2009 email from Jeffrey Epstein shows him writing clearly: “I loved the torture video.”
Multiple sources claim the video was sent from or related to the Israeli Prime Minister while he was in China. Although details about the sender remain highly controversial, this redacted email once again raises serious questions about Epstein’s complex relationships with global political elites.
Why were these sensitive emails hidden for so many years? The deeper we dig, the darker it gets.

In the latest batch of documents released by the U.S. Department of Justice from the Jeffrey Epstein case, a disturbing 2009 email has drawn significant public attention. In the message, Epstein wrote to a then-redacted recipient: “Where are you? Are you ok, I loved the torture video.”
The recipient replied that they were in China and planned to be in the U.S. in the second week of May.
Key Details from the Email Exchange (April 2009):
- Epstein: “Where are you? Are you ok, I loved the torture video.”
- Recipient: “I am in china I will be in the US 2nd week of may.”
U.S. Congressman Thomas Massie highlighted the redacted email and pushed for transparency, noting that the recipient appeared to be “a Sultan.” The DOJ later linked the correspondence to Sultan Ahmed bin Sulayem, the powerful Emirati businessman and longtime Chairman and CEO of DP World, one of the world’s largest port operators.
Who Is Sultan Ahmed bin Sulayem?
Sultan Ahmed bin Sulayem is a prominent figure in Dubai’s business elite, instrumental in building DP World into a global logistics giant. The newly unredacted files reportedly show years of email exchanges between him and Epstein, including discussions about business opportunities, women, and escorts. No criminal charges have been filed against bin Sulayem related to these communications.
Following the revelations, bin Sulayem stepped down from his roles at DP World amid fallout and scrutiny.
Context and Broader Implications
This email is part of a massive release of Epstein documents that continue to expose the financier’s extensive network among global elites — from politicians and business leaders to academics. The content of the so-called “torture video” remains unknown, and there is no public evidence clarifying what Epstein was referring to.
Social media has seen misinformation claiming the recipient was Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu. Fact-checkers, including Snopes, have debunked this, confirming the correspondence was with the UAE tycoon.

The ongoing release of these files raises fresh questions about accountability, the extent of Epstein’s influence, and why certain details remained redacted for years. While the documents reveal uncomfortable connections, they do not necessarily prove criminal wrongdoing by all named individuals.
