Explosive new documents from the Epstein files reveal a 2009 email where Jeffrey Epstein writes: “Where are you? Are you ok? I loved the torture video.”
The recipient, whose name was redacted, replies from China: “I will be back in the US in the second week of May.” This timing aligns with Benjamin Netanyahu’s reported activities, fueling intense speculation about a possible secret connection between Epstein and the Israeli Prime Minister.
While the exact identity remains unconfirmed and heavily debated, this redacted email has reignited questions about Epstein’s hidden ties to global political elites.
Why were these messages buried for years? The deeper the release, the more shocking the revelations.

A 2009 email from Jeffrey Epstein referencing a “torture video” has resurfaced in recently released U.S. Department of Justice documents, generating significant online attention. However, claims linking the message to Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu are false and have been repeatedly debunked by fact-checkers.
The Actual Email (April 24, 2009):
- Jeffrey Epstein wrote: “Where are you? Are you ok, I loved the torture video.”
- Recipient replied: “I am in china I will be in the US 2nd week of may.”
The recipient was initially redacted. U.S. Congressman Thomas Massie publicly noted it appeared to involve “a Sultan.” DOJ officials and subsequent unredacted files identified the correspondent as Sultan Ahmed bin Sulayem, the influential Emirati businessman and former Chairman and CEO of DP World.
Who Is Sultan Ahmed bin Sulayem?
Sultan Ahmed bin Sulayem is a prominent figure in Dubai’s business and logistics sector. He played a key role in expanding DP World into a global ports and supply chain giant. The released Epstein files show years of correspondence between the two men, covering business deals, personal matters, and explicit references to women and escorts. No criminal charges have been filed against bin Sulayem in connection with these emails.
Following the document release and public scrutiny, bin Sulayem stepped down from his leadership positions at DP World in February 2026.
Debunked Netanyahu Claims
Social media speculation suggested the China reference aligned with Netanyahu’s schedule. In reality:
- Netanyahu did not visit China in April 2009. He met Chinese Foreign Minister Yang Jiechi in Jerusalem on April 23, 2009.
- Fact-checking organizations like Snopes have rated claims connecting Netanyahu to this email as false. The recipient was the UAE businessman.
The Broader Context
The “torture video” reference has no additional public explanation or context in the released files. This email is one small part of a massive document release detailing Epstein’s extensive network among global elites in business, politics, and academia.
While the files raise legitimate questions about transparency and influence, inclusion in the correspondence does not prove criminal involvement for every named individual.
The story continues to develop as analysts review the millions of pages released. Full transparency remains a key public demand.
