Autopsy Doctor Claims Signs of Violence and Missing Organs in Yu Menglong Case Before Sudden Arrest
BEIJING / INTERNATIONAL – 10 March 2026
The doctor who allegedly performed the autopsy on Chinese actor Yu Menglong has reportedly told associates that he observed “clear signs of physical violence” and that “several vital organs were missing” from the body, according to leaks circulating on overseas platforms. Hours after the alleged examination, the doctor was taken into police custody.

Yu Menglong, 37, was found dead on 11 September 2025 after falling from a high-rise apartment in Beijing’s Chaoyang District. Authorities ruled the death accidental, citing alcohol intoxication, and closed the case within days. No detailed public autopsy report was ever released, and domestic discussion of the incident has been heavily censored.
The doctor’s alleged statements, first shared through anonymous channels and later amplified by overseas Chinese media, directly contradict the official narrative. Sources claim he noted injuries inconsistent with a simple fall, including possible defensive wounds and evidence of prolonged physical trauma. The revelation about missing organs has raised serious questions about possible organ harvesting or evidence tampering, though these claims have not been independently verified by major international outlets.
The doctor was reportedly arrested shortly after speaking to a small group of colleagues. His current whereabouts and legal status remain unknown. No official confirmation or denial has been issued by Chinese authorities. Attempts to reach hospital officials or the family for comment were unsuccessful.
The development has dramatically intensified the global #JusticeForYuMengLong campaign. The Avaaz petition demanding an independent international forensic review, full disclosure of medical records, and examination of all surveillance footage has now surpassed 2.6 million signatures. Human Rights Watch and several international media watchdogs have called for immediate transparency, stating that “when a medical professional is detained after raising concerns about a high-profile death, it raises serious red flags about a potential cover-up.”
Previous leaks in the case — including airport photographs showing unexplained scars and a shaved head, audio fragments of screams, alleged financial records suggesting coercion, and footage of Yu being slapped by his manager — have already cast significant doubt on the official ruling. The doctor’s alleged testimony adds a new and deeply disturbing layer, shifting the conversation from possible negligence to potential murder and evidence destruction.
Yu’s family has remained almost entirely silent since his death. Close associates say they are under immense pressure to accept the official account and avoid further comment. The management company linked to Yu has not responded to requests for comment.
Inside China, all related discussion has been suppressed. Searches for Yu Menglong, the doctor’s name, or related terms return minimal or unrelated results. Overseas, however, the story has generated hundreds of millions of views and renewed protests in diaspora communities.
Legal experts note that if the doctor’s claims are substantiated, they could constitute grounds for reopening the case under international pressure. However, given strict information controls within China, any independent verification remains extremely difficult.
The emergence of this latest leak has deepened the emotional toll on Yu’s global fanbase. Many describe the reported events as “horrifying” and “inhumane,” arguing that the treatment of both the actor in life and his body after death points to systemic failure or deliberate concealment.
As more material continues to surface overseas, the central question grows louder: what really happened to Yu Menglong, and how far are those in power willing to go to keep the truth buried?
